SCLO Consulting has enjoyed its fifth birthday!

SCLO Consulting has turned five!

Happy birthday to us.

I just wanted to come on here and tell you how thankful I am that my business has not only become established - but grown too - since we set up in 2018.

I want to thank everyone and anyone who has played a part in SCLO becoming a respected and well-known part of the tender support sector

Cake anyone?

It has been a rollercoaster ride over those five years with a global pandemic and an unsettled Government, which has already had four prime ministers!

The UK has left the European Union, which has led to a raft of changes with regards to how bidding is conducted and what pots of money are now available for various projects. More recently, there has been a war in mainland Europe, which I would have said was virtually impossible when I started SCLO Consulting. While all of that has been going on, we have worked with over 100 clients now, which is an amazing achievement. On top of the reams of written work, we have delivered webinars, face-to-face events and presented at conferences too.

We have diversified and done things like helped universities tender for research grants, helped tendering on software and qualification development, road repairs, waste removal and supporting the care sector, among others.

Happy birthday to SCLO Consulting

I have built some great relationships with businesses up and down the country and with national membership bodies like the Associations of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP).

As always, it is not always professional work which drives those relationships, it’s personal ones too and I am always grateful for colleagues’ support and friendship.

SCLO enters the second half of 2023 in great shape and I am looking forward to seeing what the next five years brings.

Cheers!
