I have recently started working with two organisations that are really making a difference in the skills and employment sector and it is great to have some involvement in what they are doing.
Firstly, the NCFE are a large and well-known national awarding organisation who have been doing what they do for 170 years!
And secondly, while Workpays may be a much smaller operation, they are no less driven to achieve their goals.
The NCFE design, develop and certificate nationally-recognised awards and qualifications. The staff there are encouraged to follow five values and I like these because they are values we can all relate to if we want to work successfully in this sector.
They are: always be customer focused, be the best, do the right thing, make it happen and remain stronger together.
I like that.
I spent a significant proportion of the Autumn supporting the team through a hugely strategically important bid, which was challenging but very enjoyable at the same time.
The work went well and I received some fantastic feedback from the NCFE’s programme director who said:

Attention to detail
